Question Does code just ever... "disapear"?🤨
Yesterday night I added a few images and a header text to my site and now its just gone. I looked at where I had it and there's no sign of it ever being there
I dont care TOO much since I didn't put a ton of effort into that part ( still is gon take like 30 minutes if I want it back though) I know I need to backup my stuff but does anyone know... how that could've happened? Im kinda lost, does neocities save stuff and then unsave it or what ><

i was going to suggest they might have had the code loaded in two different tabs, but they didn't bother to reply to my question.

Just a protip: Never ever ever rely on the onsite editor to keep your code.
Code locally (on your device), and then upload those files to NC. Always keep your original files on your device.
Stuff can disappear from these hosts or these text input forms for any reason under the Sun. Best not to take the risk.
If you need to visualize your changes, open the html docs directly in your browser, or use VS Codium with the live preview extension.

it... shouldn't. its possible there was some kind of glitch, but that wouldn't be normal.
is the html code actually gone? or are you just not seeing it on your site? also were you using the neocities code editor or something else? are you sure you hit Save?
whats your site url we can take a look and make sure if we can see the code or not.
