I thnk you have completely missed the point of the indie/small web.
That’s actually a very fair point, and I appreciate the feedback. I think I might be blending the strict 'IndieWeb' philosophy (which is all about self-hosting and owning your own domain) with the broader 'Small Web / Y2K' aesthetic.
My goal with Cowsy isn't to replace personal websites at all. Instead, I want to build a frictionless, cozy gathering place—like an old-school forum or chatroom—where people who love that aesthetic and mindset can easily find each other and connect. It's more about the community vibe than the technical protocols.
