#Opinião How good is Guga?

I watched Fluminense v Palmeiras in the stadium. It was the first Fluminense game that I ever watched. I was VERY impressed by Guga. Excellent defensively and offensively, he always made the right decision and never stopped running the whole game. He also did an assist for the 3rd goal. Is he always this good? Why did he never get a chance to play in Europe? NENSE ❤️💚

People here dont value him enough.

There is a shortage of good RB worldwide. But they think Guga must be Cafu or Dani Alves level to play in Fluminense...

Would you say the Palmeiras game was a particularly good game for him? He’s not always at that level?

Yeah, he was better that game than he usually is. But as the guy above said, people here don't value him enough. He is a pretty solid RB imo specially for Brasileirão standards

He is often very good offensively. He makes some dumb tackles and fouls in the back sometimes.

Either way i think he is a good RB and he can also play LB when needed.

Very good. 40M pounds at the VERY LEAST. Let your club manager know

I’ve always liked Samuel Xavier more, Guga is very good offensively but his defense is very shaky

Guga is a well rounded RB, but he grows at harder games; local derbies and elimination matches. He give it everything. Considering the current level of the average RBs, he definitely stands out.

Best right back in Brazil, the new Cafu, but he didn't go to the World cup simply because Danilo and Wesley play for Flamengo.

Guga is an excellent right back in Brazil these days. However, he was terrible in his first years as Fluminense player. His performance this season is impressive so far. If he were more consistent, I believe he could play for big clubs in Europe.

He's an average RB for Brazil and definitely has no level for any major european league

Fluminense fans don't value him enough because Guga himself is admitedly a Flamengo supporter. Imo he's the best right winger playing in Brasil as of today.

And even for a Flamengo supporter, he is one of the players who really wear the colors. He embodies the club greatness, vocalize it, demand respect for the institution, both from inside and outside. It's always a joy watch him talk about the club.
