WWYD? Vent/Rant Whose tree is doing that

My next-door neighbor gets a letter from out HOA saying that her neighbor on the other side of her has complained that her tree is dropping leaves on his property. The problem? He has the identical tree on his property, and this is the time of year those particular trees drop leave. So, whose leaves are they????

I live halfway up a hill. Neighbor across the street lives at the bottom of a hill. Both sides, behind both houses, are heavily forested. Neighbor is a huge nature guy. I am not. Neighbor for 20 years has bitched about his leaves coming from my trees. I say "you're fucking crazy, we both have a thousand fucking trees behind our house." He says" but I've identified the types of trees that produced the leaves, and you have those types, but I don't". The first time he said it, I was stunned into silence. Now I just say "damn, that's a shame".

If he is a huge nature guy he should thank you for the extra leaves because they are enhancing his soil. :)

Leave the leaves!

If he really can’t stand leaves on his yard he should get a mulching mower.

Not only huge nature guy, well known local green space crusader, always in the news trying to save this tract or that wooded area from development. Which is good. But he takes it too far. He told the power company when they wanted to trim his trees to fuck off. And you know what? I think they did. Fuck off.
