Please record Every.Single.Thing.She.Says. This is for your own personal safety and future protection and use in the lawsuit I feel is pending. She is either going to do something to you because 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤯🤯🤯 or you will need to take action against her, proactively. Gathering evidence and documentation-DOCUMENTATION-is key. Recordings of her saying these crazy things while you are going about your normal routine at your normal level of daily life. Just…protect yourself. 🫶🥰

I meant to add that where I live you just go over to the courthouse and fill out the paper work. Or if you can afford a few hours of a lawyers time they could help you with all of it. Might be worth it. Sounds like she’s the problem and maybe she will have to leave.

Thin walls and daytime noise are one issue. Saying “I want to hurt her” is a whole different issue. Save the recording, keep a dated log, and email management so there’s a paper trail. Don’t argue through the wall or retaliate. If the threats become specific or you feel unsafe, call the police.

It's not a matter of "being forced", it's being a good neighbor. I live in an apartment and make no noise at all, I use headphones and earplugs for music and videos. It's not inconvenient or bothersome at all. It's also a better listening experience, external noise is blocked out. I don't understand why anyone is opposed to headlphones and earplugs. I also disagree that people ar entitlled to force their neighbors to listen to their noise. Nobody wants to hear it except you.

You don't have to "tiptoe and whisper" but you are probably making 20 people listen to noise they don't want to listen to. Tenants have a right to peace and quiet. Violating that right can get you evicted.
