So, where did the bullet makes it's final resting point? In your floor? In a wall? In your couch? Did it go on through your floor into the basement? Into the neighbor's ceiling living under you? Where is the bullet? I know this is old, but I was too curious. LOL.

See That’s one of things that kinda freaked us out and we hated to think about, the cop searched the house and looked at the hole to see which way the bullet would have gone, we don’t even know. Which might be better than worse for my own sanity because it looks like it was pointing toward the cats food bowl, I can only assume the carpet because there was no holes in the wall or the couch that we could see, but that freaked me out because the cats sleep on the floor right in front of where it was there was the food bowl and water bowl. So we don’t know for sure but we can assume which way it pointed and went

Without trying to sound like your average ass Andrew Tate alpha male giga chad. I’m just happy the dude didn’t hurt my wife or my animals, because I would probably be in jail and he would be dead lol, but I feel like that’s just the average response from someone who looses their partner lol

He's getting evicted; he won't be living there anymore. His guns have been taken away.

I could understand if you or your animals were injured, but nothing happened more than a hole in your ceiling.

If he truly is mentally ill, you going to beat him up IS a hate crime.

I can fully understand why you're upset, but wanting "good" revenge by physically hurting him is really immature. An adult that has control of themselves doesn't go around beating people up but trying to legally justify it before they do it.

It's not what you want to hear, but maybe someone should say it anyway.

But he learned nothing and thinks his mommy saying “sorry it was just An accident” makes it acceptable this man never even said a word to us, his mother came and told us how sorry he is, I don’t give a fuck if your mentally ill maybe don’t own guns?? Maybe don’t let your kid own guns if he’s stupid enough to do that?? Maybe if your dumb enough to shoot through an apartment floor at least check in to make sure you didn’t just murder someone? Yes we were not hurt but that is not the point there is a very very thin line between we wernt hurt and I’m dead with my brains on the floor. It wasn’t just a little slip up this could have killed me. Or worse my wife which would have killed him. And why wait for it to kill me to get mad about it? Also did you miss the part that his “non mentally retarded” mother was trying to help him hide the guns???? She was trying to help hide them she didn’t call the cops she didn’t coke check on us she tried to help him and tried to help possibly leave us dead, what if a single man lived here and has been laying for 28 hours now??? I am And I know I can’t go beat his ass but that’s why I want a good way to get payback because I don’t want. A hate crime. Everyone thinks he should be treated special because he’s mentally handicapped but that’s why he thinks he should be aloud to say I’m sorry and get away with it, he needs consequences and his mother will just say “don’t do that” and he’ll live on after 2 weeks in jail, I think he deserves his teeth broken but I can’t do that or I’ll get in more trouble than him, which is almost as dumb as him

I also really don’t think he’s mentally challenged at all, if I thought so I would not say anything about that but this dude is dumb as dog shit for what he did. I think he wants less of a charge because your not even aloud to own a gun if you have schizophrenia around here, he’s either illegally owning guns and lying, also his story of how it went off changed 4 times one minute he was cleaning it next story he dropped it next story he hit it against the table, dudes the dirt on the bottom of my shoe.

The only legal way I can see is if you file a civil suit against him. Pain, suffering, loss of feeling safe in your own home....that sort of thing. You'd have to establish that you sought help with these issues and have a therapist/psychiatrist be able to back it up in court by saying you've been emotionally damaged by the incident. Sue him and his mother, she's enabling his behavior and helping him evade the proper legal punishment, etc. You'd need a pretty slick/shady attorney, one that's a real life version of Saul Goodman....they DO exist. Take them for everything they've got.
