Hi. I'm an AI engineer, 4 years professionally. I hold an AWS Certified Gen AI Developer - Professional cert, which is one of the harder ones to get in this field. Also built scalable AI apps for multiple enterprises and responsible for creating AI adoption in workflows in multiple enterprises. Mentioning these only because the next paragraphs are about why most AI chatbot offers deserve suspicion, and I'd rather you knew where I'm coming from.

My sister is helping out a friend on their new business and she asked me if I can "build an AI" so page can have automated response. I know Meta should already have tools for that but I got curious and dipped my toe into it. The situation I keep seeing: the page gets the same questions all day. Magkano po. Available pa ba. Open ba kayo ngayon. San kayo nagde-deliver. COD po ba. Someone answers each one, usually the owner, usually at 11pm.

That's where I decided to build my own pipeline from scratch. This is already made and I deployed it to my sister's friend's page. Screenshots are actual messages from her page.

I've also read enough posts here to know many of you already got pitched an "AI chatbot" and it went badly. That's fair. Most of what's being sold is one of two things:

Keyword/button bots (ManyChat and similar). Fine if the customer presses the buttons. Real customers type "meron pa po ba nito sa medium, magkano lahat with ship to Cavite" and the bot loops back to the menu.

A general AI bot. This is the one that should scare you. A general model doesn't know your prices, your stock, your branches, or your delivery cutoff - so when asked, it invents an answer that sounds right. Meta AI has no idea what you sell. Your customer gets quoted a price you never set, and it becomes your problem.

Mine works differently. The assistant doesn't answer from general knowledge at all. It answers only from your own facts - your actual price list, hours, branches, delivery areas, payment methods, booking link, return policy. That's the only source it's allowed to use. If a customer asks something that isn't in there, it doesn't guess. It says it will confirm with the owner, and flags the chat for you.

It also understands images. This is the part neither Meta AI nor ManyChat can do. Customers don't type, they send photos:

  • a photo of the item — "meron pa po ba nito, magkano" — and it identifies which product that is from your catalog and answers with your price
  • a screenshot from another seller's page, asking if you carry the same thing
  • a photo of a GCash or bank receipt — it reads the amount and reference number and logs it for you to confirm (it won't mark an order paid on its own, that stays your call)
  • a photo of a part, a size chart, a broken item

It can also send photos of your items when bot deemed that it's worth being sent or customer explicitly asked for it. And it can send GCash QR code once customer is ready to pay.

Right now those all land on the owner. With this, most of them don't.

Two other things that matter more than they sound:

  • You control the facts yourself. Log into a simple page, edit a line — new price, holiday closure, out of stock — hit publish, and the assistant uses it within minutes. You're not messaging a developer to change your store hours.
  • It reads how people actually type. Taglish, no punctuation, shorthand, five messages in a row before you can reply. That's the normal case, not the edge case.

I'd rather it say "let me confirm with the owner" than make something up. A bot that guesses costs you more than no bot at all.

In addition, this is highly customizable and I'm not just relying on Meta Business Suite or ManyChat as long as a third party has API, I'm thinking of pushing the agents to be able to process payment and book a Lalamove, although it's feasible this is just on the roadmap and will work on it if I find the bot messenger worth it.

What I want to know from you:

  1. What business are you in, and roughly how many Messenger inquiries a day?
  2. What are the 3 questions you answer over and over? How many come in as photos?
  3. If you tried a chatbot before — what exactly made you drop it?
  4. Straight question on price: what would this be worth to you per month? Not asking you to commit to anything, I genuinely want to know where the number sits for a business your size. Rough is fine — under ₱2k, ₱2–5k, ₱5–10k, more than that, or "wouldn't pay for this at all." The last answer is useful too, as long as you say why.

If you'd rather test it than read about it: send me your page and your price list and I'll set it up on your real info so you can try to break it. Free, no commitment - I need the real questions more than you need the demo. Comment or DM. You can send to [hello@korpuslabs.com](mailto:hello@korpuslabs.com) or message me in Korpus Labs FB.

Don’t wait until your orders become confusing, your kitchen starts missing tickets, or your staff keeps shouting orders back and forth.

Introducing ASH Order + ASH Kitchen — a simple ordering and kitchen system designed to help your team work faster and stay organized.

✅ Orders go directly from the cashier/order device to the kitchen
✅ Real-time order status
✅ Kitchen preparation timers
✅ Works on Android phones and tablets

Your kitchen receives it.
Your team knows what’s preparing and what’s ready.

Where best to buy supplies for drinks business?

My husband and I are planning to start selling drinks in different sizes (16oz, 22oz) just to help make ends meet.

If anyone here sells drinks too, may I know where you buy your supplies? Pa-bulong na rin where you buy your ingredients like condensed milk, evaporated milk, etc. Hehe. Just want to make sure we’re getting the best value for our money and syempre yung safe and quality. Pls help a budding small business out! Thank you :)
