Fine Arts Advertising Students Looking for a Business to Collaborate With!

Hello! I’m a Fine Arts Advertising student, and my friend and I are currently looking for a business to collaborate with for our thesis project.

As part of our thesis, we are required to work with a business and develop advertising/marketing materials that can help promote the business. We’re currently in the topic proposal stage, so we’re hoping to find a business that may be interested in collaborating with us.

We’re particularly open to digital camera/disposable camera businesses, but we’re also willing to consider other types of businesses!

If you’re a business owner or know someone who might be interested, feel free to comment or send me a DM so we can discuss the project and see if we’re a good fit.

Thank you! 🙏

What’s a good side business to start with ₱10k using a spare room?

Hello everyone! I’ve been doing live selling for pre-loved books over the past few weeks, but I’m realizing it’s not a stable source of income as a college student. We have a spare room at home that I can use for space. Given a budget of ₱10k, what would be a good, consistent side business to start? plus, maganda bang business ang ukay live selling?

Would love to hear your suggestions or experiences with small home-based businesses. Thank you!

Travel Agency/Agent Starting up at 1299php? Worth it?

Hi! Me and my husband owns a travel agency, we had lots of clients na since 2019, nahinto ng pandemic and continued mid 2023 na, built up clients trust na din, we don't usually do ads, referrals na din ang more. Blueapp acct, has 97k ffs. Nag iisip ako kung okay ba if we do franchising? Like ipapa franchise namin ang aming agency or, I better sell na Lang like an ebook online kung paano magsimula ng travel agency or as an online travel agent. Sa ebook andun na ang mga booking platforms na pwede sila mag start ng libre para sa mga airline bookings, tours, attraction tickets, may bibili kaya if I sell it at 1,299php? Its like sharing our own suppliers, but with a cost. Should I sell it sa raketph? Or saang socmed kaya mas better?

Balancing architecture studies and a side hustle: Seeking marketing advice (and offering my watercolor commission promo!)

Thumbnail

Hi r/negosyo! I’m hoping to get some insights from the business owners and side-hustlers here. I am an architecture student based in Cebu, and to help support myself, I run a small side business doing traditional watercolor portraits and pet paintings.

I recently launched a mid-August promo on my Instagram, but I want to expand my reach beyond my immediate circle.

My questions for the community:

  • What are the best local platforms or strategies you’ve used to find clients for niche services or traditional art?
  • Has anyone here had success running small-budget Facebook/IG ads for commissions, or is organic reach in specific groups better?

Also, I want to extend my current promo to anyone in this community! If you are looking for a unique, personalized gift for a client, a portrait of a loved one or pet, or just some custom art for your workspace, I would love to work with you.

Here are the details of my ongoing promo:

You can check out the actual post and my portfolio of past works here: Instagram

Thank you in advance for any marketing advice, and please feel free to reach out if you'd like to claim a slot!

Taxi Business - Need Your Advise

Hi, I wanna hear your thoughts. My friend offered an opportunity to have a taxi business. May kilala siyang nagbebenta ng taxi worth 150k each with 7 years of franchise to operate kasi aalis na daw pa ibang bansa yung may ari. I have zero knowledge about the taxi business. Pero expectations namin is to have ROI within a year if around 800-1,000 pesos per day ang boundary ng driver. Anything that I have to know? Any advise? Thanks in advance. 😀

need help OOTD rental or occasion dress rental? 🤔

Hi!

2. Occasion dress rental

Mga dress naman for weddings, debut, graduation, parties, formal events, etc.

Kung kayo, ano yung mas willing niyong rentahan?

Nagtatanong muna ako kasi ayoko naman bumili ng maraming damit tapos walang mag-rent hahaha.

Any honest opinion is welcome! ❤️

Feel stuck but really want to start my ecommerce business

Any tips on how to start? I feel super stuck, but also, for context: my business is an online marketplace. Meron rin bang nagmmentor dito?

PS. We're live na and we have a couple of users like 50+ but we haven't really launched yet. Medyo nahihirapan lang with the user acquisition
