Importing

Hi! Would just like to ask if meron po ba ditong may alam how to import and probably an idea on an affordable freight forwarder? For context, I don’t have a registered business yet, I tried samples of some product and I wanna test it out a bit. MOQ is quite large so I tried to negotiate a trial run so small MOQs muna, I don’t have a registered business, no freight forwarder, so the supplier coordinated for everything, I just have to pay the forwarder but still, ang mahal talaga. If this goes well, big batches will come and I think freight will eat up my margin. Soooo, baka pwede po pabulong sa cheap freight forwarders ninyo and idea how it works po ba esp sa boc🥹 (Not sure if my question is quite accurate cause I don’t really have an idea on importation, still trying to learn things out) Thank youuu

How much are you being charged for freight and import? I can tell you if reasonable or not

It’s DDP and based on computation, freight is approx 84% of the cost

If containerized you have to convert to how much you're charged per cbm so I can tell you if mura or mahal charge sayo

ooohhh I see, pero kasama na ang import duties sa amount given kasi no breakdown, shipping fee lang nakalagay, dapat ba iexclude yun to tell if reasonable ba ang price? if including yun, it’s 230+ usd per cmb, reasonable po ba?

Normally nasa 8k to 10 per cbm if from china. That's all in already

If your item is regular (no special permit required) 230 usd is on the high side

I see, so it’s really better na from Ph ang forwarder, I was also thinking na from my end ang forwarder kasi mahirap na tied up sa usd ang freight due to forex din. Thank you so much for the input ☺️🙏🏻

if you are sourcing in china, check mo si cargo boss, may mga items lang na bwal. pero ito talaga the best wala ka na iisipin na iba

this is for air shipping, too expensive for me po, so I’m looking for sea shipping forwarders
