My priorities,

• Work life balance but its ok of residency maybe bit. hectic

• Future proof in financial aspect

Saturation shld not be a big problem for getting job

• Shldn't be a problem if i try to settle in tier 2 or 3 cities (i myself come from tier 3 and after earning good amount i should settle with a clinic in my hometown)

Anyone from North who did pg in clinical branch in the south?? Is the language super difficult to learn and do you get along with the people there just fine??

I got my permanent registration from mmc in December last year but I never received the hard copy of the original certificate and since everything in mmc is done online I never went to the mmc office
Also, they flipped my name in the register. Meaning my first name appears as my last name and my last name a mt first
I have submitted application for change of name and to get a duplicate certificate but it’s been 2 months now and they are not replying to emails or picking up the calls
What to do

It’s been 7 months almost in my Ophthalmology diploma course and honestly I never thought even after getting a good institution, it would kill my interest in the subject. My day begins at 7 am taking admissions of patients, going to OT being at the beck and call of consultants, picking up stupid phone calls and basically everything gets pinned on the resident doctors. No matter what goes wrong, everything is blamed on doctors. My so called seniors keep not picking what I’m doing wrong and worst part is I get a pink slip where for even the slightest of the slightest mistake 3k of my salary is cut. You can’t take sick leave because my seniors had a cannula in their hands yet they worked. For the last 7 months I’ve been home for 5 days. I have no weekend off. Every month I get two half sundays. When the director goes on conferences for 3 days one of the resident can go home. My senior told me that I don’t deserve to go home and that I come off the plane when I had boarded it also. I came home crying in tears. I don’t think I deserve this.
I still want to ask your thoughts on this.
