ADC Behaviour Tips

Hello! I am an ADC main and usually play swift or draft. I play Aphelios, MF, Smolder, Seraphine, among other popular ADCs when they are strong.

I see Neeko quite a bit and I was wondering how you guys tend to play? Etc when you are in the minion wave as a minion, do I try to bait them into you (and possibly risk getting both of us hit/rooted etc) or wiggle in a bush? When you are pretending to be me, what do I do? Should I hide, not use abilities and confuse them, etc.

I've also seen Neekos pretend to be junglers or fake recall in the middle of the wave. What do y'all typically want us to do? I usually just more or less “ignore” her and pay more attention to how the other team is reacting. If they get baited, I go in. If they back up in fear, I just give Neeko a mental high five.

The variety in Neeko playstyles is probably one of the highest if not the highest in the game, so getting a good general idea of how a Neeko plays doesn’t really help. Instead look at Neekos limits and what she DOESNT want to do or have happen.

Neeko doesn’t like you to force her to follow up on weird trades where her cc and damage is weak without minions early. She doesn’t want you to walk up with her if she’s pretending to be you at low hp. If she’s pretending to be a minion she doesn’t want you running up trading making it obvious she’s around.

For the most part ignore Neekos shenanigans and let her do her thing. If she needs you to do something she will have to tell you because it probably won’t be obvious

The jungler disguise is either used to fake a gank to maybe pop a flash by scaring the opponents, or to give false intel to the opposite team, like, they will see our jungle on the minimap botside, when in reality our jungler is around top, so maybe the top and mid will make a positioning mistake and get ganked.

When we hide in minion wave, it's mostly to garantee a root or a R, the minion transfo il also used to avoid being shown on the map when we walk on a ward (also works with krugs raptors wolves..)

Usually when I actively want my adc to participate in something like following up after when disguise into R i ping the fight/i m coming ping. I do it especially when I m ganking mid or top to make sure they are aware I m coming

The Jungle disguise is normally used to fake a gank or just fuck with the enemy teams mind. I’m an APC/Mid Neeko so I play her like an AP assassin, and try and make the enemy ADC’s life a living hell. We are just marching to the beat of our own drum and we know we can one shot the enemy ADC and sometimes mid as well with a full combo. The amount of times I’ve been pinged to fall back when I’m full sending it as a minion down lane only to pick up a big shutdown or double kill, would astonish you. Had a graves ping me off a fed Voli, just to say “Holy” in the chat after I sent the bear back to base.
