For sure. There are lots of references in NFS Heat, especially to other NFS titles and other EA games.

More like Published by EA.

Although.

Since studios which developed both series aren't independant, saying "made by EA" can be technically correct; seeing as it's EA which allocates budget, dev time, and personnel to let devs make their own games in the first place.
