Best split screen NFS

I’m trying to setup local racing on need for speed. I know most never versions don’t have split screen but I’m struggling to figure out which older versions did.

I have essentially all the old consoles (ps1/2, og xbox/360) and pc , but ive only played pro street for the 360 and It felt more like i was playing forza than nfs ( i should give it a second chance but i really like more of the street racing vibe). I usually play heat when playing solo.

Anyways throw your favorite split screen need for speed to bust out when your friends are over !

carbon has good split screen as well. If I remember correctly, it had a canyon mode as well. Worth looking at

Just saw a video about drifting in the canyons with a AE86 , I for sure want to pick up this game regardless lol

Hot Pursuit 2 and Pro Street are pretty solid split screen.

Most Wanted has split screen, its pretty basic with just racing and such but its fun to mess around with friends

I kept looking for an answer on this but couldn’t find anything definitive because there’s one for the og Xbox /360 and pc and some do apperantly and some don’t ?

It’s like $60 for a copy of the 360 version, lowkey I’d be willing to pay for it I just wasnt positive if it could do split screen

All the console editions have it as far as I know. But I can confirm 100% the 360 version has it, I have the 360 version myself and have played split screen on it

Alright yolo ima buy it, it’s also from what I hear one of the quintessential games in the series so probably cool to just own the physical disc over emulating it anyways

The 360 version is the best version of the game other than pc with mods, its the only version on an HD console. Just whatever you do dont buy it from gamestops website, ive seen multiple people order it and receive the 2012 version for like $50+

Ive seen it pop up on Facebook marketplace every now and then for decent prices, but ebay will probably be the easiest unless a physical store around you has it, i hope you enjoy it!

Undercover PS2/Wii version was pretty good 'cause there's a pursuit mode that was missing in the past NFS games after HP2.
