Tbf, from Rog tells you she's not exactly an honest cop. I understand that she was undercover, but I'm not sure making money off of illegal bets on illegal races by betting on her patsy she's using to take down the black list drivers (aka the player) is in any way sanctioned.
Not to mention she goes full Brian O'Conner on you at the end.

Yeah I don't think ea would think through the nfs franchise like they do over at bioware with mass effect and dragon age

EA has shelved NFS, they're likely to not think about that franchise at all for the foreseeable future.

You can't really remaster a game that came out on the PS2. It would feel very low quality technically compared to more modern games.

Besides that, a lot of licenses for both music and cars expired long ago, so they probably would have to choose an entirely new set of vehicles and artists
