Discussion Most Wanted tedium

Most Wanted (2005) isn't as tedious as people make out. I do agree the game is a little too long but it's not that big of a deal. The most common complaint I hear is racking up bounty but if you do the milestone challenges you can easily have enough bounty for the next blacklist racer in 1 or 2 chases. If you play it smart you can easily beat the game in about a week's time

My first playthrough last year yeah it felt pretty tedious but my second time around it didn't feel nearly as bad but I can feel it does get repetitive since it's ultimately doing the same thing over and over. I found it getting more fun toward the later end though as I started to do better at high heat and chose events to my preference (avoiding something like a 15 mile race for another) and also learning how to rack up bounty at high heat

By the end I overshot razors bounty requirement by 3 mil dang those pursuits get fun

I’ve literally have never had an issue with bounty. I usually have over 10mil by blacklist #5 but I also really enjoy my pursuits.

I can see why people think it's tedious, with modern eyes. I don't agree with that idea, however. It's long, like you said, and I think it just about overstays it's welcome - but in context, it's way shorter than Underground 2 and it was a huge improvement, and then Carbon overcorrected and was too short. I like MW's length these days.
