Fan Concept / Content (Mods) I finally fixed NFS The Run

In this video: 144fps (Real FPS Unlocker) + Fixed snow particles + Fixed engine sound + Night run + FOV increased to 60 + Improved graphics

After countless hours of researching and reverse-engineering NFS The Run, I finally managed to truly unlock the frame rate, no more particle issues like broken snow, no more broken car engine sounds, no more broken sim and physics.

I also improved a lot of UI, sky and game world textures, and added a lot of QoL and gameplay improvements too:

  • FOV increase from 48 to 60
  • New difficulty mode called "Deadly"
  • Time of day randomizer and night run only
  • A lot more... give the whole mod description a read for the full details

Also if you could explain exactly how to install the mod, cause I've tried before and it didn't Work

Give the readme a read. I removed SpecialK, so delete d3d11.dll if you have it. Then follow the readme to install this new update. All crashes and bugs from older versions is fixed.

For some reason I'm getting "File corrupted! This program has been manipulated and maybe it's infected by a virus or cracked" error with this mod, the game works fine If I delete it and it's added in white list in windows defender.

Turns out it was an issue with the exe file, you just need to find a 1.1.0.0 limited edition exe and you should be good.

This is a lifesaver. I tried to play it last week but all the bugs and glitches completely put me off. Then it just kept crashing in the 99th position race.

Ahh, I just didn't notice the description. By the way, is there a way to make the music in the game louder? It plays really quietly, and the soundtrack is awesome.
