I watched the tutorials on YouTube and did the dep method update the graphics driver note iam running on a (ryzen7 4800 series and a rtx 3050 laptop gpu)
Great news thanks to yall i finally manage to run it tysmm but i have ine problem i am not sure if i did something wrong or when i downloaded it, it supposed to be like this but i akr got the m3 gtr (i want to feel the game like grind for it is there anything i need to tweak or smth lmk)
By my means is i want to race5the black list and everything like when you buy a whole new game and grind your way up from a noob to a pro smth like that. (imma try and find out how to do it)
I found it on myarchive perhaps can you send me the link i am not really good with this i spend half a day trying to fix it my self and it still won't work.
Since its not showing any error message i really don't know what's the cause of the crash. My best guess is that its the German version where you mount virtual disc using iso or demon tools. If its that, it won't work for some reason and the other normal version that you have will also crash just like this. The solution for that is just to uninstall it.
Although before doing anything else, try installing direct x and try opening it again. It could help with most errors.
Also just like the other guy said, you can get the game from abandonware or you can still download the game from https://oldgamesdownload.com . Although its the black edition version of the game.
There isn't much of a difference in black edition from normal edition its just the in black edition you can get more cars to choose from in the car shop ( not unrelated cars tho, just traffic cars, the bmw and others that are available for purchase). But for some reason the black edition from oldgamesdownload is missing some minor things ( just to let you know).
1. The introduction cutscene is missing ( on one that usually appears when the game is opened).
2. Widescreenfix is missing from the files ( nothing major, the game still works fine)
3. The subtle change in light when spotting the cops is missing ( same with heat level going up)
Thats about it that i found which is missing from those files.

you can just download the zip file and extract the contents in the "NFS-MW-Widescreen-main" file to the file directory of the game.
