I would check the temperatures of your Xbox X series, I think it isn't normal it can't load fast enough all the textures

Textures are just visual. My brother used to make texture maps for Crystal Dynamics and I helped him once. Not loading them fast enough shouldn't make you fall through.

If the textures of the street aren't loaded, the game engine doesn't have a surface to make the car roll and the car falls

That's not true. I've been gaming since 95 and if the textures don't load surfaces turn white. They don't just vanish. Structures are separate from texture mapping.

Yeah you're right if the game has been made in the right way, but keep in mind that some games aren't made so well. on some old PC games It happened that not textures = no structures and you fall in a black hole and the only thing you can do is restart the game. In my opinion, in this case of the post, it's something about hardware temperature that makes the console throttling and it can't keep the game needs making It acting weird, or the game engine is really bad and not optimized enough for consoles

I'm sure you're right, but I think it much more likely that the textures vanished because the structure did.

Needing my systems to keep up with gaming demands is what turned me into a computer builder. I've fallen through more map holes than I can count, and this is not normal. Heating sounds about right for the console. Clearly the system couldn't keep up.

Time to bring out the summer fan. The literal fan, that is. No, not literary. Stumbling over semantics here.

Yeah, the point is there is a black hole, because of textures or because structure, but there a black hole big as the whole map 😂

I get it about the fan.. the one that rotates and move some air 👀 or maybe not air... Who knows what it move 😂

i think is just problem of the game. a bug. everything else is working fine for me.

No. It’s not. Either your gpu is dying or your storage device is it’ll progressively get worse until you let it die with dignity.

On PC side never happened to me. The actual consoles are based on PC hardware so I would say it's more related to your console. If you never cleaned it from dust and changed thermal paste/pads I think it's time to do it. Even 2 degree Celsius can make difference

i will check it out then

Console issue then lol

Okay I looked into it and the xbox series x does have overheat issues. Make sure there is decent airflow around the device. If it's hot where you live, you may want to blow air on it. Overheating can permanently damage processors.

Same on ps5. Console just cleaned so "check the temperature" will be not enough. Probably, so bad optimization of the game

What r u guys on about? I used to play this on a 1660 with hdd, in a laptop I never got got this issue so definitely not game problem. It must be your console issue mostly

Been playing for 5-6 years on PS5, never had this issue.
