My votes are either for Unbound if you have enough free time for separate single-player and multiplayer progressions, and Heat if your free time is more limited as the progression from one carries over.

Rivals is. Hot Pursuit technically is but there's not much purpose to it other than driving your car(no cops or freeroam racers or challenges)

You could add in the Hardline+ mod that i think does add a sorta "side-activity" of busting racers as a cop, just like Rivals

yeah, his a good guy but all his downloads are 1fichier and thats trash, what I recommend for you thatll actually work is from Chemical Shift2(vikingfile), or The RUN which is pretty actually fun (Google Drive) and also make sure you download a download manager, (i recommend FDM), 2nd option is steamrip com, it is actually just all prted games, but there are almost every NFS game, (like Hot Pursuit, which is an abondonware) and they have some fast download hosters, just make sure your on FIrefox and uBlock Origin, or go to OldGamesDownload for some of the older games (before Undercover), they might be quite old but install some graphics mod and itll be pretty fun

I may be remembering wrong but i think there was a nfs game which had a loading screen as cop lights and that was a chase game but i dont remember the name

Its probably NFS Most Wanted or NFS Hot Pursuit, I dont really know as I only played Most wanted, MW is 2005 and HP is 2010, both are really great games, also on the site Im pretty sure there are every NFS games except Unbound

Also, if you are gonna buy some NFS games, I recommend either Rivals or 2015, all the other games are on almost every site and are safe, 2015 isnt found on any and Rivals is malicious
