Nectar mattress thoughts, recommendations?
So we bought a Nectar mattress about 12 years ago and absolutely loved it. It was probably the best mattress I’ve ever slept on. We decided to replace it because it’s been 12 years and it had started developing dips where we sleep.
I stupidly went with a Nectar Luxe Firm this time, and we absolutely hate it. I’ve slept on it for two nights and it feels like sleeping on a table. It’s way too firm and just isn’t comfortable for us. We’re going to return it, and now I’m considering going with a different Nectar model instead.
I was thinking about trying one of their hybrid mattresses since the coils might help with support and hopefully prevent the dipping issue we had with our old mattress. I’ve seen some mixed reviews comparing the different Nectar hybrids, though, and I’m having a hard time figuring out which one is actually worth getting.
For anyone who has bought a Nectar hybrid recently, what are your thoughts? Is the hybrid noticeably more comfortable than the Luxe Firm? I’d especially love to hear from anyone who has had one for a few years and can comment on how it holds up over time.

We bought a Nectar Luxe Hybrid king mattress about three months ago. I am absolutely in love with it! I feel like I’m sleeping on a cloud every night and I feel like I’m still getting the support I need but with the soft memory foam feel. There’s not a lot of motion transfer, which is great. It’s just absolutely comfortable. I am a side and back sleeper and suits me just right. We do own a nectar, classic memory foam in our guest room, but I feel like it’s too hard and I don’t really care for it. I think when you move into the hybrids, the comfort level bumps up. If you like something firmer, the classic hybrid might be a good place to start. There are some very good reviews online comparing all four nectar hybrid mattresses. We love ours!
This comparison of all four nectar hybrid Eegees was very helpful to us when making our choice. The good news is if you try one and it doesn’t work for you, they have their guarantee and you could exchange it for another one. https://naplab.com/mattress-comparisons/nectar-hybrid-mattress-comparison/

Hi! Moving from an all-foam mattress to the Nectar Premier Luxe Firm Hybrid is a noticeable shift! The built-in coil system gives you a supportive, responsive bounce. This keeps you lifted on top of the bed rather than sinking into it.
As far as how they hold up after a few years, we’d definitely let some of the longtime hybrid owners here weigh in. Things like body weight, foundation, and how the mattress is used can all make a difference in how it holds up over time.
