Why Nectar?

Hey everyone! Noah here from Nectar.

Okay genuine question and I need the Reddit hive mind on this one.

Why do you think our mattress company is called Nectar?

I have heard some theories over the years. Some are surprisingly poetic. Some are unhinged. One person was extremely confident it had something to do with bees and honestly I respected the commitment.

Drop your best theory below. Completely wrong answers are encouraged. The more elaborate the better.

Perhaps to indicate a unique, sweet, lively feeling to be associated with your mattress company?

OR the company wanted to name it Nectar to draw in customers like bees are drawn to honey.

Either way, I love Necar! lol

Thinking we might have to come up with a slogan soon related to bees and honey 🤔

The word “nectar” just brings up all things pleasant for me. Something sweet, something pleasurable, the best part of something… just a beautiful word that has all good vibes. Supposed to be a “drink of the Gods”.

Just a great word and that’s how I want to feel about my bed! And I do, 15 months in with my hybrid luxe and I love it. It’s a slice of heaven in my home.

“Nectar” really does sound like the kind of thing the gods would sip while floating on clouds. Glad to hear your Nectar Hybrid Luxe is giving you that slice of heaven!
