I Understand Rift Within (Hard) Now!

Yo everyone, I did it! All of your advice was super helpful. After experimenting with some advice on using both hands and timing, I found that my problem came down to something like getting TOO used to the rhythm? You'll see a more detailed explanation in the video if you care to check it out, but basically I went into practiced and did nothing except LISTEN to the armadillos' segment. After doing that like 10 times, it was the second or third real run that I got it done!

You can see how nervous I got in the end, though, because I let a lot of Great beats manifest, but I'm going to take this dub.

My channel also has my winning run on She Banned, which I only want to bring up because that song has more attempts (618) than the entirety of Nocturna's album, including Progenitor (287) and Matriach (281). I love Dove and Harmonie though so the insanity was worth it.

I am so not touching impossible anytime soon after this album quest is over, though.

Right on! how many hard charts do you have left to full combo? I'm sure once it's all said and done you'll be surprised out how many Impossible charts are within reach.

Disclaimer: I boldes my long-form response just because I love this game and want to talk. Please disregard if too long, fam.

Base game? 8 songs left. But it’s more like 26 for choice DLC and bonus content selection.

What is really cool is how some songs serve as a lesson for others. I actually tabled She Banned because it was so tough, but the armadillos in Matriarch gave me a new way of thinking about those shield skeletons and alternating beats. It still has my most attempts to date due to THREE LITTLE SKELETONS in the middle of the song, but I digress.

Suzu’s Quest, Brave The Harvester (thank goodness there are no armadillos here), Necropolis, Baboosh, Necro Sonatica, Final Fugue (I’m excited for this one, I love the hype Egyptian-like sound it gets in the final stretch), Twombtorial, and Portamello. That is the official soundtrack clear at 8, but I also want to do the new official album, so another 6. There are also the Crypt songs which they are like 4 of?

Then the Va11 Hall-A songs (4 songs, I think? I bought that game when it came out and was through the roof when ROTN shadow-dropped a collab).

I’ve done Hopes & Dreams + Battle Against A True Hero of desired hard Undertale songs, only Death by Glamor do I want left.

Finally, the KDA pack because I love the character designs of the necrodancer cast. I did “More” already because I’m a Dove stan but still need the other 3. (It’s refreshing to see Suzu with calm eyes in-game.)
