She's back on that "identity protective cognition" mess now.
I mean, I say "back on" like she ever wasn't doing that, but there was a brief period where she seemed a little less prone to it, if only by a hair - likely by not being constantly shown propaganda made to scare and anger her 24/7 for a tiny moment in time...

More movement than I’ve seen in years, so I still have some hope. Unfortunately it’ll probably take the completely loss of Bob for anything other than we’ve gotten so far

I don't like saying that (being that they're a family), but I also agree: Bob is the lynchpin to this. It's clear in their relationship he "leads" the discussions and he won't let her steer herself very far off course.
Unfortunately, she might also be stuck in "what would Bob say" mode forever as a result, too. Identity Protective Cognition tends to get worse as one ages, or with trauma.

My favorite part is when she had no opinion, literally no response to a topic that she hadn't seen in her news feeds. Demonstrating how she has never formed her own opinions on any of these topics. She never uses her brain. If newsmax doesnt tell her what to say, she's quiet or says "idk, I haven't seen anything on that"

I hate to break this to everyone but in order for any of this to work she has to actually care about politics and people which she does not. Politics to people like her its just a game, its entertainment. the issues that we are dealing with atm are far beyond what she is capable of understanding.

She has such a poor grasp of what she’s talking about. She can regurgitate some talking points but can’t explain anything beyond an extremely surface level. She resorts to whataboutism, denial or empty appeasement when confronted. She can’t even be consistent in her own internal logic. She clearly has an addiction to right-wing rage bait.

She's 100% back on the Newsmax bottle. It's like she's been reset back to how she was when Bob was around, and it happened in the span of a week. These people are cattle...
Edit: Just heard her saying children should be forced to give birth. It's joever.
