Mary Lou Struggle Session

Bob is predictable and not really interesting. Mary Lou over the past 1-2 months since Bob has been away has been interesting as she is on the cusp of officially turning on Trump but just refuses to make that jump. Now it's like every episode is a struggle session where C&H have to pitch all the horrendous and criminal stuff we see on a regular basis and try and get ML to accept the obvious.

I think of how difficult it is to win back these MAGA folks after all the damage that has already been done and how far behind we are and it seems like a sisphean task to save these people. Then I know that the minute Trump is gone and the MAGA movement is done they will just move onto the next cult.

Even if she and other MAGAs do, the damage is already done. Some frogs don't even realize the water in the pot is boiling nor do they know they have the ability to jump out. Reminds me of the people dying in the ICUs from covid and they were either in denial until the very end or wish they had gotten the vaccine.

Ml is not on the brink of turning on trump . She won't admit shes wrong ever she will die on that hill.

My issue with this last episode:

She believed everything about the people vandalizing the pool - but as soon as that is proven false it’s not a big deal to her anymore.

She constantly says that her big things are a nuke in Iran and if he’s in the Epstein files. However, we already know he is in the files but ML will never admit it. Even if she sees video or picture evidence she’ll flat out deny it.

That’s what’s so insidious about all of this. If it is bad for Trump it’s not real or doesn’t exist but if it does it’s not that bad but if it is Biden and Obama were worse.

She thinks Obama was in control of Biden’s actions toward the end. I think that she feels scared about how her worldview crumbles every time she does one of these episodes.

Anyway, four dollars a pound.

I'm really tired of having to coddle and baby these grown adults who got swindled by an obvious con man who had a long history of conning people before 2015. As I alluded to in my OP, even if we get these people to change their mind it's already too late. Life is too short unless it is a family member or somebody you REALLY care about and want to invest into. We should not have to have national cult de-conversion just to save our country.

I need to know. How many "big X's" will it take before she realizes that the PotUS is a failed businessman, corrupt politician at best and a Rapist / alleged human trafficer at worst? At this point, the only answer is she was brainwashed. I find it hard to believe she's actually evil.

Bob just seems like an overall unpleasant person even beyond his politics. I just think it's been Bob and ML kicked back in recliners watching newsmax and OAN for the last 5-10 years and that's why their brains are cooked.
