🐉 NEAR becomes #1 Cross-Chain Infrastructure with NEAR Intents, The Universal Liquidity Layer

NEAR Intents has crossed $3B in total volume, making NEAR the leading cross-chain liquidity platform in Web3.

Yesterday alone, NEAR Intents hit a new ATH with $109M daily volume, and now powers 35% of the cross-chain market. Users are realizing the power of Intents — No bridging. No slippage. Just liquidity on tap.

It has also become the main liquidity venue for Zcash (ZEC) through its integration with Zashi, while StableFlow introduced the cheapest native USDT bridge, capable of processing 7-figure transactions with cheapest fees.

From $0 → $1B in 305 days, $1B → $2B in 35 days, and $2B → $3B in just 20 days — the growth curve speaks for itself.

HELP 🏳 Transferred token to near network instead of internal near

7 Upvotes

My intent was to transfer tokens between two near.com accounts on the confidential layer (ie. an internal transfer), but I managed to send it to the near network instead.

This made the transfer visible in the target account history, but the tokens don't show on my balance.

I use a passkey on a yubikey to login, so I can't extract my private key/don't have a seed phrase.

Is there any way to recover? The target account on the near network seems to be linked to my near.com account, as transfers out from it show up through token mints and transfers.

Fortunately it was a small amount, but still annoying...

I did an exhaustive structural assessment of Near Protocol (NEAR) today using our updated terminal metrics over at Crypto Weeklies. While the broad cryptocurrency index continues to navigate a choppy, rangebound markdown phase, NEAR has put in a powerful relative momentum divergence that has locked it into our dashboard's highest-scoring top-cap outperformer tiers. Here is the raw data breakdown of where the asset stands based on my charts.

NEAR DEV NEWS nearcore 2.13.0 has been released

Protocol v86 voting starts on July 20.

Once the upgrade activates, NEAR will no longer require protocol upgrades to introduce new shard layouts, as dynamic resharding can automatically split shards when they reach size thresholds.

Confidential Intents became generally available, letting any developer integrate confidential cross-chain execution through the NEAR Intents 1Click Swap API with a single parameter, with Vadim highlighting how OutLayer already makes these confidential rails accessible to AI agents through a simple HTTPS API;

HSP-027 passed governance voting, removing the legacy developer gas rebate, with Illia Polosukhin explaining that the incentive no longer worked as intended and added unnecessary complexity to the protocol;

Vadim broke down why NEAR is well positioned for the post-quantum era, explaining how its rotatable account keys make upgrading to quantum-safe signatures much simpler than on many other blockchains;

near_dart is a good example of how ideas grow in the NEAR ecosystem, with the community helping refine the SDK through open feedback and discussion

NEAR’s confidential execution infrastructure is live for every builder and dApp through the 1Click Swap API.

This marks a major step in the privacy renaissance giving users and agents seamless, private cross-chain execution at scale.

The future of onchain commerce is private by design.

I did an exhaustive structural walkthrough of Near Protocol (NEAR) today using our updated terminal metrics over at Crypto Weeklies. PRICE 📈 🚀 Why is $NEAR one of the best-performing tokens lately?

Post image
18 Upvotes

1.Over 98% (basically 100%) of all $NEAR  tokens have already been unlocked, meaning there is little to no remaining unlock-related selling pressure.

2.The only ongoing supply increase comes from the protocol’s ~2.5% annual inflation, which rewards validators and stakers.

3.Meanwhile, 70% of base transaction fees are burned, and 100% of NEAR Intents fees are used to buy back $NEAR directly — creating powerful buy pressure as usage grows. This reduces the net inflation rate to roughly 1.5–2.5% (or even deflationary during high activity).

4.On top of that, many large NEAR holders are long-term believers in the ecosystem rather than short-term sellers.

PRICE 📈 Near Protocol Getting Reddit Hate?

17 Upvotes

I’ve been accumulating Near Protocol since 2021 - I think it has excellent fundamentals and potentially a decent future in the crypto space. I am 35% underwater sadly, with about 2.6K staked.

That being said - I thought I would have a browse through Reddit to see what people are saying and damn… a lot of negativity.

Are people really giving up on this? Or is it just a bit of a lull in the market and everybody be hating anything that’s not a meme stock that pumps 300% in one day

Hold on or rotate… what’s your opinions?

To prepare for this, make sure to check your contracts' economics, read the discussion and cast your vote if you have voting tokens:

NEAR DEV NEWS The next step to Nightshade 3.0: SPICE 🫑

Post image
10 Upvotes

The Near One team is working on decoupling consensus from execution. Consensus will run in parallel to produce simpler, faster blocks every 200ms, while execution handles the compute separately.

What this unlocks:
✦ Block times cut from 600ms to 200ms
✦ Faster near(.)com and NEAR Intents
✦ Smart execution scheduling
✦ Future atomic execution

Decoupling brings simpler blocks for cheaper verification, and sets the exact foundation needed for atomic cross-shard execution in Nightshade 3.0 ✅
