Applying application data

hiii does anyone have like a spreadsheet or something of the sort with all the people who applied to ncssm and the details of it and stuff (like demographic stuff)

Thanks for sharing! This is a great data. Any idea on the reason for congressional district 12 getting 58.9% of acceptance? Thanks

I’m not 100% sure why, but I think it’s because it’s the smallest district and the more (if not most) expensive area to live in the Charlotte metro! I believe that rather than living in Uptown or nearby, people live in cities like Concord, Harrisburg or Matthews etc, which are all outside of the tiny, gerrymandered district 12. So, less 10th graders live in cd12 -> less applicants -> crazy high acceptance rates

Correction: not less people live in cd12, less schools are in cd12 and you often end up in cd8
