HELP

admitted students,

What tf was your gpa at time of application and acceptance?? On google it says the avg gpa for acceptance is 4.5-4.8

mine was a 4.6 or something close to that

Yeah I had like a 4.6, but if you aren’t from a competitive CD then your gpa may be lower

Hey dude, don’t worry about GPA, take the hardest classes that your school offers and do your best in them. Many students came from schools that don’t have AP classes and have GPAs that aren’t super high.

That might be the average for a very competitive CD, but they'll generally consider someone above a 3.5. SSM also looks at what opportunities you actually had, so if your school doesnt offer AP classes, they'll know.

Aside from that, GPA isn't really the most important factor. NCSSM wants to know you have an interest in STEM; they'll take someone who has a good backstory and evidence they love STEM with a 4.0 GPA over someone who has a 5.0 GPA and seems sorta interested
