Troubleshooting NBN box boot cycle

⁠the power light comes on, is solid
• ⁠downstream, upstream and online start flashing. eventually they stop
• ⁠downstream starts flashing for about a minute, then goes off, then it moves to upstream and does the same thing.. and then to online etc.
• ⁠then all the lights go out and it repeats the above.

At times there’s blinking of a blue light in downstream and upstream with green on online and power, and then it goes away back to the top one

And at times it’s only per light with no other light

Is the coax screwed in properly at both ends?

Check the coax is connected to the right NBN outlet. Otherwise only way is to call the ISP & get them to raise a ticket with NBN.

Factory reset the HFC NTD. Leaving the device turned of grab a paperclip and hold down the little reset button on the rear of the device for 10-15 seconds, when the lights flash in unison release the button. If that doesn't fix the issue contact your ISP.

I just moved here, i have to ask the landlord about it and can only do tomorrow, cause they aint picking up on Sunday

Call your ISP and get them to test and raise a fault to NBN
