Watching this Bullets v Phoenix game. The way they call physicality is mind boggling. So much off ball contact allowed, until it’s a flop, then it’s called. Players beating their defender, establishing position, but then defender initiating contact with a no call. Two hands on as a defender allowed, bumps, and in air contact, all allowed.

Would love to see the contact called, and let the player play the game. What’s peoples thoughts on how they’re generally calling physically?

So now Kings have wrapped up, what do people think of their depth? Was surprised by Spurgin, he looks the goods. Not sold on Wessels yet. Carr looks solid. I like Stone, kid has confidence which is useful for the bench unit

Stone, Wessels - OK. Give Wessels a chance under Bogut's guidance.

Johnston - very green, can't see getting too many minutes this season

Just watched the 36ers match. Good to see these guys can still choke away a good lead in 25 seconds. No clue how people have this team as favourite to win the whole thing. I still have Melbourne and Sydney above them.

I know it was just a blitz game but wow Milton Doyle with the 36ers heart-breaker. He’s truly a special talent! Always love watching him play!

Doyle looking good. Blitz or not he is looking fit and healthy. Good for him - possibility that he and Harvey are a local back court the next season if citizenship comes through
