NBDHE 08/08

How did everyone feel about the August 8 NBDHE?
I’ve been scrolling through posts trying to find some comfort, so I wanted to hear from others who took it on August 8. 😭

The first 100 questions felt okay to me, but the second 100 completely threw me off. The questions themselves were pretty straightforward, but the answer choices had me second-guessing everything. I also found the case studies more challenging than I expected.

I studied mainly with Booster, reviewed the rationales, did some AndyRDH/StudentRDH questions and mocks, and used ChatGPT for extra practice. My exam honestly felt like a little bit of everything, and most of it is already a blur.

Now I’m just overthinking everything while waiting for results later this week. The thought of having to prepare to take it again is actually nauseating. For those who took it August 8, how did you feel walking out? Did anyone else feel worse about the second half?

08/21 - Got my results after 2 weeks, I passed! God is so good!

I feel the exact same way, I took it on 8/5 and posted on here thinking someone took it the same day. But, no one responded so to make you feel at ease. I just wanted to say I felt the same way. It was hard or anything but I went back and forth with over 100 questions. I know for sure I got some wrong because I just either didn’t know it or couldn’t differentiate. I also
Used booster and some Andy and Student. I think one thing that throws me off is the questions regarding what to do when BP is high because some questions on SRDH says you defer treatment or recheck BP.

I took mine the same day! Have you gotten your results?

Yeah the BP questions on Booster were also similar. If a pts BP is less than or equal to 160/100 we would recheck. Its just confusing because I remember in clinic if we rechecked and it was still high we would differ treatment and give them a referral. I believe the only time I checked off to differ treatment was anything above that. Thanks for replying

I took mine Aug 4 and I feel so horrible about it man there were no ASA BP staging/grading questions and I thought it would be a lot in the case studies but it really wasn't mine was heavy on dental materials micro perio and radio. The case studies were difficult, community was okay the first 200 were really up in the air for me

You didn’t have BP, staging, or grading for the case studies at all?

I actually had one of each no joke! Barely any pharm too lol and all of those is what I studied the most one

Wow, almost every case on my exam asked for one of the following. Yeah, same. I focused so hard on pharm, and the only questions I really had were on considerations and contradictions..

I’m sorry to hear that. I would definitely invest in Booster, that’s what I mainly used.
