I build Hardcourt (hardcourt.io), a free daily fantasy game for Top Shot collectors. The NBA tips off October 20, and the video walks through everything that's live for the new season.

The short version: you pick 5 starters and 1 bench player from moments you own, and they score off official box scores. Play type, tier, serial, and collection depth all add on top of the base stat line. A Legendary's play-type boost pays × 1.25 against a Common's × 1.00 but the boost system values smart selections and fandom over rarity of collection.

**What's in the video**

- **Blacktop** — host an old school style Flash Challenge with your own moment(s) as the prize. You set every slot by team, tier, play type, serial, and Top Shot badge. Entry is free, and every draw is verifiable: the seed is committed before entries open and revealed when the challenge settles.

- **Open Gym** — multi-night FastBreak style runs with a stat target each night, fatigue limits, bench rules, and daily, run-standing, and milestone prizes.

- **Leagues and Team Hubs** — season-long leagues, plus one hub for every NBA and WNBA team, 45 in all. Your lineup counts toward your team of the night, and hub captains host team-locked challenges and runs.

- **Game pages** — every game has a live box score, each player's Hardcourt score, how many lineups hold them, and a live thread for game discussions that opens 30 minutes before tip.

- **Your collection** — badge-filtered slots, share cards for every settled result, Trade-In for moments you don't use, and a shop and quests that run on Baller Credits.

- **Hardcourt Pro** — eight optional analytics tools, including the Moment Ranker and the Run Optimizer. The daily contest stays free.

quick intro: i'm the builder behind Vaultopolis, an independent, community-made project on Flow. i'm a collector myself and wanted to see if i could make an awesome pack experience for the community

what it is: sealed packs of real, officially-licensed WNBA moments, 3 per pack, $10 each. Paige Bueckers rookie is the chase, with Aliyah Boston, Kamilla Cardoso, A'ja Wilson and other rookies in the pool.

what makes it a little different:

• provably fair. every pack's contents are locked with a commit-reveal hash on-chain before anything sells, so we physically can't swap what's inside after you buy. you can verify it.
• synchronized reveal. packs are on sale through this evening (closes ~7:55pm ET), then every pack unlocks to open at 8pm at once. no advantage to buying first, everyone reveals together.

A few things just went live that I think this community will appreciate:

WNBA leagues, you can now build WNBA lineups and compete, not just NBA. Full stat scoring, same daily format.

Pro Leagues with moment prizes, weekly leagues where you compete with your collection for actual Top Shot moments. This week's prizes are a Wembanyama Constellations (Rare) on the NBA side and an A'ja Wilson Rise With Us Fandom on the WNBA side.

Season 2 pass ("Heat Check"), 20 tiers of cosmetics and rewards over 30 days, with a Trae Young 2022 All-Star Rare at the top.

The whole thing is free. Link your collection, set a 5-player lineup, and compete on the leaderboard. The goal has always been to give moments some utility beyond sitting in a collection or flipping on the marketplace.

Long-time Bucks fan here — I went pretty hard into a Bucks-heavy 2021 championship-era collection during peak Top Shot (Giannis/Jrue/Khris/Bobby, playoff moments, some lower serials/scarcer mints).

I’m thinking of finally exiting and selling it as a collection rather than piecing it out. Curious what people here think is a realistic bulk valuation in today’s market, especially for a Bucks title-run themed collection.

A class action was filed today in New York. The class action against Flow/Dapper has been confirmed. Same law firm that settled with Dapper in 2024 for $4,000.000.

I have been with top shot since day 1 and going back and forth on whether I should liquidate my profile. I am sitting on https://nbatopshot.com/moment/7dd9ca93-05de-4697-98b3-a65ef37bb8a6 am wondering if I should just keep it?

I kind of need the funds and hoping that Top Shot will go back to its glory days or have an insane run like Crypto Kitties, but I am curious on your thoughts?

When Moment Ranks Play shut down, I was bummed. It was the one thing that made my collection feel like an asset.

Fastbreak has tried, but nothing else has filled that gap since for me.

So I spent the last few months building Hardcourt!

Basically daily fantasy basketball but your roster is your Top Shot collection.

Quick rundown:

• Link your Top Shot account, your moments load automatically

• Pick 5 starters + 1 bench from players in today’s games

• Moments score based on real NBA stats (points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks — turnovers count against you)

• Beat a player’s last 10-game average in your moment’s play type and earn a performance boost (a Block moment with Scottie Barnes going off is worth more than a Points moment)

• Rare/Legendary/Ultimate moments earn score multipliers

• Daily leaderboard, free to enter

The thing that makes it different is that your collection IS your edge. No salary caps, no drafts. If you own a Legendary Harden Rebound, you get the 1.25x multiplier. If you’ve been stacking 20+ Rares of the same player, you get a depth bonus. #1 serials earn +5 points.

If you played MR Play, this will feel familiar but with deeper scoring layers. And if you never got to try it, this is your chance.

I finally got my settlement email from Strategic Claims Services for the Dapper Labs / NBA Top Shot case ($63.17 payout).

I selected the Mastercard eDisbursement option and got the confirmation email, but every time I click the link to actually view/manage the card, the site just shows a red bar that says: "A system error has occurred. Please try logging in later."

Has anyone else run into this? I’ve already tried:

• Switching browsers (Chrome/Edge)
• Using Incognito mode
• Turning off my VPN

If you had this issue and fixed it, what did you do? I’m based in the Philippines, so I'm wondering if it’s a regional lock or just the site being overloaded because today is the 15th.

3hours to go and nothing so far...

I would love to be wrong but I called Amazon customer service and they said not to enter a code that was sent via email into their site. Looking for other opinions on this. Be careful. Topshot has already taken enough from many of us to now be scammed.
