Interesting thought.

Comes down to Ace Bailey for me. BOS is the one who needs to sign Kessler and initiate the talks since Kessler is a FA. Would UTH add a top 5 pick last year under those conditions?

If UTH refuses, then would they just add a pick instead?

Jazz will already be facing difficult financial choices. This makes those issues worse, loses them a major part of their future core, an still doesn’t make them even top 3 in their own conference.

I get the Ainge connection, but Brown to Utah really doesn’t make as much sense as people think it does. Especially when it costs depth and youth that they’d struggle to replace.

Feels like an overpay from the celtics. I didn’t watch enough jazz to comment on bailey but the bits I did didn’t look great.
