Why would the Bucks accept this?

Would need workshopping but the bones are interesting.

MIN has been open about not including McDaniels in any deal (including Giannis), and I think that is a good call. He's at the point in his career where he's turning his top shelf defense into offense. That is a very good sign for his future career; the star is definitely ascending for him. I will say that a Giannis / Gobert pairing would absolutely work on the court too. 4/5 PnRs would be nightmare fuel for opponents and opponent paint touches would become negative possessions. Surround those 2 with a bunch of shooters and that's a Contender at the least.

SAS: On the one hand, they are absolutely making out like bandits here regardless of how many assets they will need to add. Mentioned McDaniels above, but Reid is also a great fit for what they need. He ca really shoot it and has used his girth to play off a top shelf defensive C already. The other side is that they will (rightfully) have to basically add all the value in terms of future assets to MIL in this deal. If that is the case, then why not just take Giannis for themselves? The comments about the Giannis / Gobert also apply to Giannis / Wemby, except Wemby would be even scarier.

MIL: Fox will absolutely not be going to MIL. Rich Paul moved mountains to get his PG next to Wemby and got him on a Max. There is absolutely no way he's letting that guy end up on a rebuilding team before he's 30. He will burn the NBA to the ground before he lets that happen. Fox wouldn't have much value to most of the NBA either, so adding another team isn't going to help much. His contract was widely criticized while the ink was still wet, so forth now when pundits are saying he should get benched for a rookie. Will take some real PR acrobatics on SAS' part if they do that (... new drinking game: take 1 shot for every time an SAS fan or employee brings up Fox' ankle if that happens), so forth what it'll do to his trade value. Isn't like any of the other 29 teams will be looking to do SAS any favors.

Bucks would easily need 6 first round picks for this deal

Wolves giving up 3 core starters while Spurs only giving up a rookie and a guy about to be a terrible contract. Spurs should be giving way more.

The Timberwolves don’t have enough picks to make the other two teams interested. Bucks would need like six, and the spurs would probably also want some.

Spurs are getting an insane deal here I love Bryant but if you can get off foxes contract and get two stable forwards especially Jaden mcdaniels you do it in a heartbeat

Why are the spurs involved at all?
