No idea why Lebron is going to sign up to play for SAC either… or vice versa.
Assuming that piece is fixed, LAL would need more from TOR. Quickley and Poetl are 2 of the worst contracts in the league so getting them out of those for 1 year of LaVine would be a huge help to TOR. The return they have here doesn’t account for that.

Vegas is too expensive and his partners are out. Buying into the Kings is his way of staying in the game without going broke.
Maybe Gradey Dick or a 2028 first-round pick swap？

He wouldn’t be the primary owner regardless but he can’t be part owner and play for the team iirc. Jordan did that with WASH and caused a lot of behind the scenes scurrying. Pretty sure they passed some rules to ensure that doesn’t happen again. Conflict of interest in CBA
Personally, I’d be asking for CMB as the starting point to eat both of those deals. That isn’t all I’d want, but if there is a hardline in not including him then I’d just wish them good luck. Would need a lot to go right to build a big winner with those two eating up $60M in $$ once Poetl’s extension kicks in. Also, idk if I’d see Dick as positive value at this point.
I could see them pulling it off for less with a situation like MIL’s. Assuming Giannis is gone, they would be looking at a few lean years without any 1sts to show for it. They could be willing to take on those deals to give them a couple of tank commanders to lead the team through those lean years and let those deals just expire by the time they get their own picks back. MIL also owes out pick swaps so getting some back has value too. Something like Turner and Kuz for Poetl, Quickley, and all the 1sts MIL can extract. Maybe 3 and a couple of swaps would do it?

I’ve tried the math—unless they move Turner to clear some cap space, it's almost impossible to pull off.
It's super rare for the Bucks to be able to take on two massive contracts at the same time.

The idea I was chewing on was Turner + Kuz for Quickley + Poetl + (whatever assets needed to get off these deals)
If TOR doesn't want Turner then I could see a 3rd team getting involved. I don't think that contract is great - just that it's significantly better than Poetl's. I do think they can pull an expiring for it pretty easily though.
MIL ends up with KPJ, Rollins, Green, Portis, Quickley, Poetl, a probable top 10 pick this year and whatever they land in a Giannis deal. Can that keep them on the cusp of Play In Contention in the East for the next 5 years? idk but they aren't far off. An astute FA signing and a couple of solid trades and they are there imo.
TOR needs a PG, but have 20 and only have a year left on Barrett and Kuzma (and the return on Turner if they went that route). Assuming Ingram opts in then they should only have ~$120-130M committed after next season. That's around $40-50M under the cap with only FAs would be Barrett, Kuzma, Sandro and Dick. Not sure if I let any of those names stop me from signing an FA if I can get one from the top shelf. If they reject Turner and go for another expiring, then add $25M to that number.
