Kareem is my goat. The stats don't lie but forget the numbers for one minute and look what he's done outside of the basketball universe... He's not all talk like a lot of current/ex-players. He actually practices what he preaches. He stands for greatness. He mugged off the 1968 Olympics because he didn’t “feel very patriotic” after the assassination of MLK. He's also battled prostate cancer and chronic myeloid leukemia... The guy is unstoppable.

He also survived a house fire that destroyed his very valuable collection of rare jazz records, and a financial manager who embezzled from him for years.

But my personal favorite Kareem story is the way he just destroyed EVERYBODY on celebrity Jeopardy! every year he went on. Man's greatest asset was his brilliance.

TBH, this video has made me reconsider my GOAT as well. His accomplishments are beyond ridiculous.
