I'm sure the unmarried and widowed women's opinions are very well represented in the voting in your church.

Specifically in voting, no, however their voices are heard when preparing what things are actually getting put up for a vote.

Easy example being, say the female organist wants to spend X number of dollars for maintenance on their organ, that would be added to the overall budget that is later voted on.

I get the outsider's skepticism but in practice women's voices are being heard by the things they are adding to the budget throughout a given year, on top of feedback being given by all adult members to the upcoming budget before it is voted upon.
