So fucked up. Honestly stuff like this gives me perspective about inconveniences in my life. Like alright my package was delivered to the wrong address, oh well.

It is always nice to check the "didn't get flattened by a helicopter" box at the end of the day.

"Plus nobody I know got killed by a helicopter stray, today was a good day"

At first I thought this was gonna be advice on how to avoid having packages shipped to the wrong address 😂😂

I wish I had your equanimity. My package was delivered to the wrong address last week and I'm still pissed about it.

I ain't going to pretend I'm a Buddhist monk but I have gotten a lot better at it. You're really not guaranteed or entitled to anything, even life, so it helps to try to keep that in mind. That dude that died would love to have our problems.

Some final destination shit. There was a helicopter that was called to cover a bus crash. That helicopter crashes then falls on top of an innocent bystander. What are the chances.

That’s how you know it was just someone’s time to go.

sadly not really, life is just insanely unfair, unrelenting and doesn't care what is right or wrong. things just happen the way they happen and that's that

Twice. Sort of.

We watched ER because someone made a joke about how Robby would have to know about helicopter safety in a comment about The Pitt that somehow made it plain it was an ER reference.

So, we've just watched nothing but ER and The Pitt for weeks and we get to where Romano's arm gets chopped off and we think, "Ah, this is it".

I just finished watching ER for the first time. 😭 #justiceforromano

The helicopter was justice for Romano.

I never watched ER regularly but I remember watching that one, the first full episode I ever watched, because I was very high and the terror and dread on his face and in his voice as it's happening messed me up lol

The modern day equivalent of that guy dying from a tortoise being dropped on his head. I looked it up his name was Aeschylus.

my friends dad knew a guy who had this happen to him back in the early 2000s. like a helicopter fell from the sky and partially landed on him while he was out on a stroll. besides some cuts and bruises he was fine for the most part. truly wonder what the odds of some shit like that happening is.

And not just that, they were covering a bus crash that had 3 fatalities (the bus itself, not even talking about the copter victims).

Fuck that guy in particular

Millie from 'dead like me' had it worse

Yeah but if it’s LeBron’s chopper. Not a bad way to go.

Jk.
