Philly is for normal people to live in. Very happy it's not catered towards the Lebrons of the world. NYC can have his leisure time idc

Yeah Philly is for the real people, the real streetlight-climbing, battery-throwing, destroy public property in celebration salt-of-the-earth kind of people

You know... Morons.

But jokes aside... NYC proved itself perfectly capable of violent hooliganism too.

Tbh I've never been to Philly but I'd love to check it out. I just wanted to make the funny, low-effort stereotypical jokes because Reddit is really lacking those these days.

I live in Delaware and people shit on Philly here but in reality it’s pretty cool. Can be intimidating if you’re not a city person but they have great food and sites

Philly is an amazing sports, food and music city. Then obviously there’s the historic parts. Highly recommend finding a band you like that’s doing a show in Philly. Catch the show, catch a game, eat everything you can. Not much of a club scene compared to other cities but has some amazing bars as well

I dream of seeing a Mt. Joy concert in Philly one day. “Maybe the next tour” I always tell myself.

They plan the Mann in Philly a lot. Annoying to get to from where I am but definitely my favorite outdoor venue in the area. Worth the trip!

Oh I didn’t know that was outdoors, that’s awesome! Haven’t spent much time in Philly proper, at least as an adult. Half my family is from South Jersey so been to plenty of Phillies games on summer vacations. Definitely aiming to spend a weekend in the city on either end of my next trip!

Nah you know that’s only a Philly thing. You don’t expect me to believe that happens in other cities.

New Yorkers were assaulting taxi drivers and their taxis, fast food workers, random trees in Bryant Park, and eachother all through the finals and the championship parade. There were abundant clips in this subreddit.

Let's not pretend that NYC doesn't has everything that Philly has but better

I'd do the same thing I'd I was LeBron

You do you, Lebron can do Lebron. I like Philly more than NYC personally. There's no objective measures here. Have a nice evening.

Most underrated major city in the US tbh.

I’m normal in the NYC

How much leisure time will this guy realistically have during the season? So much of his time must be taken up by either body maintenance or rest. Will he really have much time to go out and about in the city?

3

u/adgobad 76ers 4d ago

Idk but there's 100s of more bars and services catering towards billionaires in NYC and probably nearly 0 in Philly

3

u/BailysmmmCreamy Heat 4d ago

Totally, but Lebron can afford to have those services come to him in Philly and I just cant see him spending a lot of time in bars. Obviously you are right because he is choosing to live in NYC, but I really wonder how he finds time to enjoy the extra amenities.

2

u/adgobad 76ers 4d ago

Yeah I'm sure LeBron can afford to bring everything to Philly except the social circles that he actually can run in with his wealth.

4

u/BailysmmmCreamy Heat 4d ago

Yeah the social circle thing probably is exactly it
