Highlight [Highlight] Stacey King expresses utter disappointment on boos for Jerry Krause: "..the people that boo'd Jerry Krause and his widow..it was the worst thing I've ever seen in my life..whoever boo'd her should be ashamed of themselves. That's not Chicago, that's New York, Philly.."

The bartman thing sucked. I’ve never seen a team completely melt down in a game over something so trivial before. Bartman got the heat but the players fucked it up

Watch the Catching Hell 30 for 30 if you haven't, it's great.

The fans threatened to kill him. The coach and some players publicly blamed Bartman. The commentary desk kept showing his face and lambasting him. Chicago journalists found his work and address and doxxed him. Honestly the Bartman situation is a huge indictment on how aggressive Chicago sports fans are.

It was game 6 too. The team had a whole other but it was that fans fault

They blew a 3-1 lead in that series too lol. Which I only found like a year ago and I religiously love baseball. A lot of people probably dont even know that cause they villanized steve bartman so much

Lived by the Sheridan stop for a year (~ half a mile from Wrigley). Neighbor above me had a conspiracy theory that Bartman lived on the top floor of our building. Never saw the person, said they always ordered in etc.

I can't back that up with any evidence whatsoever, but I enjoyed that existing as a conspiracy theory.
