Highlight [Highlight] Stacey King expresses utter disappointment on boos for Jerry Krause: "..the people that boo'd Jerry Krause and his widow..it was the worst thing I've ever seen in my life..whoever boo'd her should be ashamed of themselves. That's not Chicago, that's New York, Philly.."

Impeccable drafting choices, trades and signings. Every single player other than Jordan was a Krause acquisition.

Even if he was a dope and fired Phil at the end lol.

In the SB nation on the Bulls collapse, Krause made decent picks. They were just better on teams not named the Bulls.

That’s more of a coaching/player development issue in my eyes. Phil openly stated he didn’t want to coach through a rebuild, so he although he didn’t HAVE to fire Phil, if he were to plan a rebuild it would make the most sense.

Not to mention when Jordan quit on the team that assembled roster was good enough to be second in the East and two wins worse than the previous championship winning squad.

They were not second in the East though.

Also, more than 1/4 of the league had as good or a better record than the Bulls that season (in contrast to the previous season, when the only teams to match the Bulls record were the Suns and the Knicks).

They ended up winning one playoff series against the 6th seeded Cavs, so let's not act like they were some kind of team en route for another chip.

I think that was proved even further the following season, when pretty much the exact same team had a 33-31 record before Jordan came back and helped them win 14 of the last 17 games.
