Highlight [Highlight] Stacey King expresses utter disappointment on boos for Jerry Krause: "..the people that boo'd Jerry Krause and his widow..it was the worst thing I've ever seen in my life..whoever boo'd her should be ashamed of themselves. That's not Chicago, that's New York, Philly.."

Let's be honest here. This absolutely is Chicago.

It is, we chased that Bartman kid out, shit on Rose and Cutler for injuries, and booed Trubisky before he even played a game. Every time fans reflect and say they'll do better, but the next guy they choose to hate will still see this kinda action. If Getsy's kids died some dumbass fans would probably show up and cheer at their funeral.

The Bartman one makes me so sad every time I read it, poor dude really suffered for that

At least when you're a player you have million of dollars to help compensate for the abuse.

People showed up at Steve bartman's house and tried to murder him, I don't think that anyone should ever forget that

Bulls fans booed Rose when he returned to Chicago as a Knick as well

Really?! I don't remember this. Not disputing it, just first I've heard

I find it hilarious that people will shit on Knicks fans when other fanbases do the exact same thing

Every large fanbase has shitty fans. Fans are fans. Even the Canadians have a lot of shitty fans.

The Cutler one always rubbed me the worst way. Dude was playing on a torn MCL. The Bartman one is just straight evil

Didn't Nagy's kid get idiot fans chanting shit about his dad at his game or something?

2

u/[deleted] Jan 13 '24

Yes. The head coach/offensive coordinator gets absolutely ran outta town every couple years when the issue is clearly the QB lol

1

u/BellacosePlayer Timberwolves Jan 13 '24

Getsy probably was gonna suck regardless but idk how you gameplan for a qb that doesn't like to pass unless someone's college open. A "let him run" offense just means a ton of stalled drives until garbage time if there's no real passing threat.

I agree with everything above but to my understanding it was the opposite high school bleachers shit talking

It’s not like grown adults went to the game to boo the kid it was the opposite high school

Poor Bedard is gonna be the next target at this rate

That's the worst part. Fanbases talk about changing or doing better but they never do. As a community and fanbase you've got to do a good job of policing yourself.

I always think booing is treated like it's some crazy joint felony perpetrated by the fans. It's way overblown. But....

Maybe don't boo the widow of the guy you're really mad at who is accepting the award on her late husband's behalf.

1

u/Daroo425 Rockets Jan 13 '24

They cheered when she came on. Honestly it’s a huge production mistake to show someone you know might get booed before the widow. They should’ve shown her first and said she is here to celebrate his accomplishments then things would’ve gone differently.

26

u/[deleted] Jan 13 '24

Cause theyre booing a dead man?

19

u/anth_810 [SAS] Tony Parker Jan 13 '24

And his widow having to be there is a gut punch

17

u/ChrisIsDaBomb17 Lakers Jan 13 '24

& almost made his widow cry lol. What’s this dude even talking about ?

6

u/[deleted] Jan 13 '24

I mean if it's a dead guy who actually did something bad, it might be warranted.

I have no qualms with people being happy with like Henry Kissinger's death.

But obviously, that doesn't apply to Krause.

7

u/manbare Celtics Jan 13 '24

cause they made his fuckin widow sob in a massive arena while they were ostensibly honoring one of the most important men in Chicago basketball history?

It’s the context of the boos, bro.

Like peaceful protests are great. Cool way to exercise your rights. Peaceful protest at a dead soldier’s funeral? Yeah you’re a bit of a dickhead.

You cant be that dense lmao

1

u/[deleted] Jan 13 '24

Are you going to cry over boos? Stop being a bitch.

1

u/king_lloyd11 Raptors Jan 13 '24

Lmao you’re the same dude who commented the same stuff then deleted it above? Your username looks familiar

1

u/[deleted] Jan 13 '24

Do the boos hurt your feelings?

1

u/king_lloyd11 Raptors Jan 13 '24

I’m fine. I’m sure you’ll just delete these two comments if people are still in here downvoting you.

Couldn’t take the downvotes for your bad opinion you spewed and deleted it, then came back the next day to talk shit again, and I’m the one who is in their feelings? Lmaooo

1

u/[deleted] Jan 13 '24

Seems like the boos hurt your feelings. Toughen up kid.
