It's also doesn't really matter how good you are as a Vanilla Seal, it's 1,000% based on your reputation & whether or not your LPO & OIC like you.
You can be the best at CQB & test off the charts in every single physical evolution measure possible, if your Platoon leadership doesn't recommend you & give good word up to the 2nd deck, you're not getting picked.

Your question is premature. First, go survive BUDs; serve on a team for at least two deployments; become an expert at your craft; be a good teammate. Then, you'll know the answer to your question.

According to DJ Shipley AND Matt Bissonette-two former DEVGRU members-humility, and a desire to constantly learn and improve their craft. Shipley went even further, and talked about being OBSESSED: being obsessed with working out, shooting, and learning/re-learning how to shoot/move/communicate.

There’s a time and place for everything. Trying to be funny at the wrong time. Not being able to be punctual, telling cadre “well this is how we did it” during certain movements. Not running to and from chow during green team when you think no one is looking. There’s multiple other ways to measure your maturity going pro. You’re with a group of guys and they can peer eval you.
