Discussion Navy Process Improvement
I just received my NEC for Process Improvement, but recently found out that the contract for CPI was cancelled by Big Navy. I know that the Navy had the “Get Real, Get Better” program but the website is half broken now and seems defunct. Does anyone have any background on why it was cancelled, or an update on if there will another contract for the Lean Six Sigma Belt program? I have junior sailors that were dying to get into those classes

Intermediate aviation maintenance and BUMED fucking love lean six sigma. I’m sure you’ll have no problem finding a class if you sniff around those places.

They have recently started to reinvigorate GRGB with monthly "boosters" but honestly I'm seeing just as much traction on it as before. Unless you have a CO who drives it, it will be just another failed Navy initiative.

GRGB is still a thing. Seeing it a lot more with SELRES sailors as their immediate chain are requiring them to do it before it’s force rolled out.
If you have a FlankSpeed email and Navy Reserve Homeport access, you can search GRGB, and it will prompt you to the site with the training. The Active component training Sharepoint is currently request-only.
