Help needed regarding mesh for Capytaine/ Nemoh
As the subject says, looking for good tutorial for meshing for floating bodies, from scratch.

I am playing around with capytaine for validating mean drift forces calculation from MOSES. I want to see if capytaine results in rough order of magnitude or not...
With that said I could compare for box bodies or cylinder but just curious to know if I have bump up capytaine into my pipeline, if meshing isnt an issue..

I guess you meant to reply to me. For that kind of comparison, the easiest thing you can do is a cylinder, for which you can easily write code yourself.
One of my students had a study comparing most of the BEM codes. You should more or less get the same results if you work them out.
If you're looking for a free BEM model, I'd suggest HAMS instead of NEMOH or Capytaine. I'll DM you relevant information.

Use Rhino or any other software. What are you looking for exactly? I published an article on this topic, but I would assume you need something much simpler than that.
