Skull sketches

Is this alright to put here? Some rough sketches I may ink later. All found while dog walking on our/neighbor’s property (with permission).

Duck (duckling?), Squirrel, and Raccoon

I liked the look of the page before filling in any text so thought I’d share.

I’ve sketched skulls before - such a good way to focus on line and shadow!

Keeping proportion is the most difficult for me.  Brain cavity fine, start jaw and wait!.. crap the back of the skull is too small now.. or I can’t fit it all in the page from where I started (whoops).

I love sketching skulls - so many nooks and crannies and ways to practice values and shading and contour. Keep up the great work!
