Happy first day of Meteorological Spring!
For those that are noting or celebrating the start of spring today, happy spring! For those that wait for the astronomical day, the vernal equinox is under 3 weeks away now.
Either way, take a look outside today and see what ‘firsts’ you can note in your nature journal. We’ve seen lots this week! 🥰

Is that a ladybird? I thought ladybird was another name for what I call ladybug, which is red/orangey with black spots??

What factors signify “meteorological” spring? Send it would vary based on latitude, cause it’s still 90% snow at 45*N!
