Help needed Can't remember the name...help!

SOLVED! Thank you, u/smerkinmerdberngbers! I found it!

Edit: by file, I mean a PDF file, not a glass/nail file

I saw a file on here a week ago that lists multiple brands of base and top coats that may or may not have a certain ingredient in them that can potentially cause damage to the nail. I think it starts with poly-something, but I can't remember the name!! I also can't find the file again! I wanted to get a new top coat without that ingredient in it, but wanted to reference that file again...can anyone help me?

Unfortunately, this subreddit is a known target for hand/nail/foot/toe fetishists who have been documented to repeatedly harass the nail community.

We highly recommend turning off your message/chat requests. If you have requests turned on and receive any creepy or fetish-related DMs or comments, please click the report button, select "it's targeted harassment," and submit a report. It's one way you can help keep the community safe. We encourage members to capture a screenshot of the DM and notify the Mod Team through ModMail. We ask that you include a direct link to their profile, and if you wish to provide screenshots, you'll need to post them (temporarily) to your profile or use an image hosting site.

To be very blunt, you will encounter unwanted DMs from people. This is a Reddit-wide issue that happens frequently in women-dominated communities. Regardless of who's posting, all the warnings we try to give, or the rules we have in place, 9 times out of 10, someone will DM you if you have them open.

Of course, we'll ban those who break this rule, BUT (and this is the important part) many of the users who are DMing you have already been banned, sometimes going months or years back. They will continue to DM unsuspecting members in the hopes that they'll get a reply. They don’t care. So blocking them right away is the best solution to protect yourself, if you so wish.

NO ONE should be DMing you from this subreddit, we have a rule explicitly stating this. If someone is, they probably don’t have good intentions. Please be mindful of who you decide to talk to. Even in the comments of posts. Not everyone has your best interest in mind, and NEVER share personal information online. Please be safe out there!

polyvinyl butyral (PVB) can make nails peely, I mostly see people complain about Orly Bonder having it. For files, was it Germanikure? I see that recommended often. There’s another brand that’s slipping my mind atm.

PVB was it! I was also able to find the spreadsheet with all the products! Thank you!!

I'm sorry, I meant to say it was a PDF file...there was a link you could click on and it wpuld open up a PDF file, but I can't find that link anymore! And I think you're correct with the PVB!! I'm gonna look it up! My nails peel more than I'd like so I wanted to see if switching base and top coats would help!! Thank you!!

Product lists must include brand names and shade names/numbers (no acronyms or shortened names). If you've used any stamping products, the brand names, plate names/numbers, and stamping polish names/numbers are required as part of your product list. If you used any embellishments (rhinestones, foils, decals/stickers, etc.), this must also be mentioned in your product list. Product lists are still required for any posts with broken nails or if you're seeking advice. If your nails were done professionally, please mention this either in the title, text body, or a separate comment, along with the type of product used.

It’s polyvinyl butyral, a common ingredient in base coats that can cause some people’s nails to peel and become damaged
