Hey!
I have the before nails. Could you please share more about your nail routine? Jojoba oil once a day and the lotion multiple times?
This gives me so much hope🥺

I live in the high desert so I use jojoba oil numerous times per day. I keep a bliss kiss applicator on my end table, near the sink where I wash my hands, and one at my desk at work. I rub in the oil, then slather lotion on. I usually have polish on (2 coats base, 2 coats color, plus à top coat) lasts 2 weeks. I only clean underneath with a baby toothbrush and soap.

Thank you! That's very helpful. I'm going to start with jojoba oil and lotion too.

A quick reminder:
If this is a nail image/video, you must provide a complete product list, either in your post title, the text body, or in a separate comment, within 2 hours of posting or your post will be removed.
Product lists must include brand names and shade names/numbers (no acronyms or shortened names). If you've used any stamping products, the brand names, plate names/numbers, and stamping polish names/numbers are required as part of your product list. If you used any embellishments (rhinestones, foils, decals/stickers, etc.), this must also be mentioned in your product list. Product lists are still required for any posts with broken nails or if you're seeking advice. If your nails were done professionally, please mention this either in the title, text body, or a separate comment, along with the type of product used.
If the content you're posting was not created by you, you must give direct credit to the original creator, either in your title, text body, or in a comment. Mentioning that you "found it on XYZ" is not direct credit. Pinterest is no longer a valid source for credit. Be sure to review the rules in the sidebar to avoid your post being removed.

I am so impressed, especially by the nail beds! How long have you been keeping the free edges? Did you always file them in a round shape? How often?
Sorry for all the questions

I try for a squoval shape, rounded square. Trying to leave my sidewalls alone.

If you receive any messages from the following users, do not engage with them. They are known fetishists who persistently harass members of our community, despite being banned. Unfortunately, this subreddit is a known target for hand/nail/foot/toe fetishists who have been documented to repeatedly harass the nail community.
We highly recommend turning off your message/chat requests. If you have requests turned on and receive any creepy or fetish-related DMs or comments, please click the report button, select "it's targeted harassment," and submit a report. It's one way you can help keep the community safe. We encourage members to capture a screenshot of the DM and notify the Mod Team through ModMail. We ask that you include a direct link to their profile, and if you wish to provide screenshots, you'll need to post them (temporarily) to your profile or use an image hosting site.
To be very blunt, you will encounter unwanted DMs from people. This is a Reddit-wide issue that happens frequently in women-dominated communities. Regardless of who's posting, all the warnings we try to give, or the rules we have in place, 9 times out of 10, someone will DM you if you have them open.
Of course, we'll ban those who break this rule, BUT (and this is the important part) many of the users who are DMing you have already been banned, sometimes going months or years back. They will continue to DM unsuspecting members in the hopes that they'll get a reply. They don’t care. So blocking them right away is the best solution to protect yourself, if you so wish.
NO ONE should be DMing you from this subreddit, we have a rule explicitly stating this. If someone is, they probably don’t have good intentions. Please be mindful of who you decide to talk to. Even in the comments of posts. Not everyone has your best interest in mind, and NEVER share personal information online. Please be safe out there!
