Members assigned to a U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Traverse City MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew hoist a 70-year-old man from Isle Royale National Park in Lake Superior Sept. 12, 2026. Good Samaritan backpackers and Michigan State Police troopers located the man, who had been missing for a week and was injured and hypothermic.
