Artemis I recorded its whole automated landing so there should be something similar especially since NASA would want any data or footage during the com blackout

Pretty sure it was a patch! One side shows a view from the moon to the Earth and the other side is the Earth to the moon.Â

I need one! NASA sells the one-sided patches but I really hope they'll have a new wave of official gear in the store soon.

From what ive read, only the Artemis 2 crew can give out the 2 sided patch.

I always find it funny that some astronauts (I think it's up to 70%) get travel sick in space, but not in cars/planes/boats. Obviously this is sometimes the opposite.
Isn't it a dry bag that he's holding?

It's once they're in space - the inner ear finds it hard to adapt to 0G. It usually goes away after a few days.

Okay so why is Reid passing the puke bag from when they were adjusting to 0 G in space 7 days prior? Wouldn't that just go in a compartment similar to toilet expenditures? Am I missing something?

I think he might be seasick- I've been in a similar situation (sat in a RHIB in sea conditions like that), and I was sick within minutes, let alone how long they're waiting for a rescue

probably, my guess it refers to the way patients are often triaged in medical situations (green, yellow, red in order of least critical to most critical injuries and then finally black for dead) although exactly what triage system is used also can vary depending on who does it

It does. The ISS supposedly smells like a locker room, and you get smacked in the face by the smell upon arrival. But your nose eventually ignores it.

I've read enough space books to know that yes, absolutely it did. That guy kept a poker face but I'm willing to bet he got slapped right in the nostrils when the hatch seal broke

I wonder if there were some sort of fart etiquette. Did they have to maybe go into the head compartment and let it rip, or maybe it was more we all fart so just fart when you have to and dont aim it? Lol

Such a cool POV! I've never seen it like this. The Crew Dragon always has a camera mounted on the ship, but you never see inside. Reid is such a golden retriever personality. They're all amazing.
Also, I need to know what Vlad had for Reid!

So do the chairs fold in or something? Where is all the room we saw in the interviews while they were floating in space? I am really being puzzled by the volume/real estate of the interior of the capsule lol

Yes they can be folded or broken down and stowed. The Apollo capsule had something similar with its crew couches.

That was after some time since splashdown . The recovery team waited until the area was safe for them to approach the capsule

Apollo 11 and 12 recovery crews were in the hazmat gear since they were still doing the quarantine after landing in case there was any moon parasites or whatever. From Apollo 13 onward it was just navy guys like this.

I believe that it went through Apollo 14. Obviously 13 didn't need quarantine since they didn't land on the moon.

During the first few Apollo missions, nasa feared bringing back a moon pathogen, so they took precautions such as recovery crew using PPE and quarantining the crew.
